PAINTING A DAY PROJECT- DAY 10, COASTAL CAUSEWAY ROUTE, NORTHERN IRELAND
This landscape painting is of possibly my favorite view on this road trip in Northern Ireland. We woke up early when we saw a forecast of clear skies, and drove to the closest point of the North Antrim coast to Scotland. We could see Scotland in the distance at twelve miles away. It was blistering cold but the morning golden hour was well worth the early alarm clock and numb fingers.
Ireland has this magical golden sunlight in the morning that lasts far longer than an hour. It is truly incredible as the lush green grass is almost glowing it is so vibrant.
