When growing our own food for the first time I found it difficult to harvest the food and just eat it. We had so much time invested in these beautiful, intricate plants that I felt like I needed to make them last a little longer. I whipped out my camera to take photos of our vegetables and that’s how this series of work started. Nothing beats the deep hues of green, purple, and red that homegrown food yields.
