Étretat, France

It was a gorgeous early summer day exploring the beach and cliffside trails in Étretat, France. We had that perfect kind of weather for a light jacket with a breeze or no jacket to feel the warmth of the sun on your skin. I painted this series of watercolor landscapes as a reflection on past road trips, weekend getaways, and seasons of life when we were able to travel freely. Each painting is painted from one of my photographs taken while traveling. It makes me feel nostalgic for more simple times but also grateful for past adventures.
