Juneau is a very misty place. You often can’t see the mountains because they are covered in clouds and low fog. The few beautiful blue sky days are a treat, but there is something equally as beautiful when the mountains peak through the clouds like in this watercolor landscape painting. This series of watercolor landscapes is a reflection on past road trips, weekend getaways, and seasons of life when we were able to travel freely. Each painting is painted from one of my photographs taken while traveling. It has me feeling very nostalgic for more simple times but also grateful for past adventures.
