Coastal Causeway Route, Northern Ireland

This watercolor landscape painting brings me right back to the long walks with my husband Kyle, and our friend Ellen along the Northern Atlantic coast. We searched for sea glass for hours despite the dreary brisk wind. We were consistently awed at the rugged beauty of the Coastal Causeway Route in Northern Ireland.  

This series of watercolor landscapes is a reflection on past road trips, weekend getaways, and seasons of life when we were able to travel freely. Each painting is painted from one of my photographs taken while traveling. It has me feeling very nostalgic for more simple times but also grateful for past adventures.
