Living in Paris, France twice has been such an unexpected adventure. In 2018, we lived in Le Marais neighborhood and just a quick five minute walk to the Seine River. Paris really is such a picturesque city and I was constantly reminded of its beauty as I walked along the cobblestone sidewalks at the rivers edge nearly every day. I love how walking under the bridges frame and bring into focus the gorgeous city ahead.

This series of watercolor landscapes is a reflection on past road trips, weekend getaways, and seasons of life when we were able to travel freely. Each painting is painted from one of my photographs taken while traveling. It has me feeling very nostalgic for more simple times but also grateful for past adventures.
